What brought you to the CTG UAlbany?
I am a Graduate student studying Computer Science at UAlbany. I have a great amount of interest in Data Analytics which I consider to be my future career. I am also adequately skilled Software Development. I was actively looking for something that would combine both my skills and interests to put them into create something for the society, when I found a position at CTG UAlbany. CTG UAlbany is a collaboration atmosphere that brings fresh ideas, helps solve issues, provides a mechanism to ensure that high-quality work is met by deadlines, and I feel that my work is respected when contributing to a project that generates results.
What did you do prior to coming to CTG UAlbany?
At age 16, I started learning coding in my high school, developing small scale python applications. I did my bachelor’s in Computer Engineering from Ganpat University, with Machine Learning being my major. Currently, I am a master’s student, studying Computer Science, Prior to University at Albany, I worked at Fusion Informatics Ltd where I worked with Big Data and various Web tool to create User Interfaces for applications.
What are your plans/goals for the future?
My goal is to pursue a professional career in Data Science and try to approach a branch where I can take both theoretical and practical approach to my work.
How can CTG UAlbany help you reach your goal for the future?
At CTG UAlbany, through technology advancement, policy refinement and management enhancement, I would engage with more researchers and coding experts and pursue more applied research projects with real-world data to help develop government and public service. In addition, I appreciate the organized work atmosphere created by CTG UAlbany and the time spent guiding me in my future to ensure my technical skills.
