Abstract

Survey of common system development

This document provides an overview of common system development processes. This can be used to guide analysis, design, development, and maintenance of information systems.

There are different methods and techniques used in software development projects and most real-world models are customized adaptations of the generic models.

Each model is usually designed for a specific reason, most have similar goals and share common tasks.

This research paper explores the similarities and differences between various models and discusses how different approaches are used and combined to address practical situations.
