Meghan Cook appointed to New York State CIO Council’s Strategic Alliances Action Team

Meghan Cook, program manager at CTG, was recently appointed to serve on the New York State CIO Council’s Strategic Alliances Action Team. Part of the mission of the Strategic Alliances Action team is to develop and promote partnerships and collaboration with organizations that could provide positive impact and value toward shaping Information Technology across New York State.

Meghan brings 12 years of experience in the fields of public administration, education, and information technology to the Action Team. She has worked with teams from government, corporate, and academic organizations to address information management issues through collaborative problem definition, analysis, project planning and implementation. She is currently leading a third phase of work in assessing mobile technologies in child protective services in NYS. In addition, she is managing an international project to develop a sustainable global community of practice among digital government researchers and research sponsors.

The New York State CIO Council addresses issues related to statewide information technology concerns. The Council comprises senior IT leaders from state agencies, authorities, public benefit corporations and local governments. The members of all CIO Council Action Teams are listed on the agency’s Web site.
