Donna Canestraro appointed to New York State CIO Council’s Enterprise Architecture and Technical Standards Action Team

Donna Canestraro, program manager at CTG, was recently appointed to serve on the New York State CIO Council’s Enterprise Architecture and Technical Standards Action Team. This Action Team is responsible for encouraging the sharing of technical knowledge and expertise across agencies of state and local government and reviewing current and emerging technologies to develop enterprise technology standards.

Donna brings over 25 years of experience in the fields of public administration, education, and information technology to the Action Team. Her current work focuses on the policy, management, and technology issues related to inter- and intraorganizational information integration. She works with agency partners on problem definition, process analysis, and business case development. She also participates in defining technology issues, conducting investigations of relevant technologies, managing research projects, and evaluating organizational, process, and technology solutions for several CTG projects.

The New York State CIO Council addresses issues related to statewide information technology concerns. The Council comprises senior IT leaders from state agencies, authorities, public benefit corporations and local governments.
