CTG UAlbany Faculty Fellow to speak at Route Fifty Tech Roadshow

CTG UAlbany Faculty Fellow Brain Nussbaum is one of the headline speakers at the Route Fifty Tech Roadshow at The Beekman hotel in New York City on August 8.

Brian NussbaumThe roadshow aims to take a deep dive into the tools, tactics, and strategies state and local leaders are using to protect their citizens and agencies from escalating cyber threats in the interconnected world. 

Presentations will focus on:

  • Developing modern enterprise-level cybersecurity strategy that evolves with changing threats
  • Building a cybersecurity culture throughout your agency and beyond
  • Evaluating and harnessing emerging technologies
  • Detecting and preventing insider threats
  • Building partnerships to gain intelligence and ensure the security of interconnected systems

Nussbaum is an assistant professor in the University at Albany’s College of Emergency Preparedness, Homeland Security, and Cybersecurity. Other speakers at the roadshow include:
