Brief Bio

Erico Przeybilovicz is a researcher at the Center for Technology in Government. His research focuses on e-government policies and adoption at national and local government levels, assessment and indicators, e-participation, smart urban governance, and smart sustainable cities.

Erico has extensive experience working for various private and public organizations, including the United Nations University Operating Unit on Policy-Driven Electronic Governance (UNU-EGOV) in Portugal, the Center for Public Administration and Government Studies of Getulio Vargas Foundation in Brazil, the Brazilian Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation, the Secretariat of Information and Communication Technology of Curitiba, among others.

He has participated in and coordinated projects on smart cities, smart urban governance, local government assessment, and digital governance strategies, such as the Cape Verde Digital Governance Action Plan and Portugal’s Benchmark Assessment. Erico also contributed to the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UNDESA) Local Online Service Index project in Brazil and the Brazilian Smart and Sustainable Cities Assessing System. Additionally, he has delivered training courses and seminars on digital governance, digital transformation and sustainable development, and governance models.
