The United Nations Department of Public Institutions and Digital Government (UN DPIDG) team was seeking a toolkit to assist Small Island Development States (SIDS), Least Developed Countries (LDCs) and Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDCs) in their implementation of capacity development for innovation for public service delivery to implement the SDGs.
The goal of this project was to develop a toolkit to be utilized by the UN DPIDG in their efforts to facilitate substantive support to capacity development efforts by member states on the topic of innovation for public service delivery, including ICTs.
The toolkit will be designed to support a preliminary self-assessment of government priorities, existing institutional arrangements and service delivery gaps followed by “targeted training” allowing for customized approaches through inter-institutional dialogue in an interactive and focused workshop setting.
This project was led by the Center for Technology in Government (CTG UAlbany) in partnership with the Donna Canestraro of DCS Leadership and the United Nations Department of Public Institutions and Digital Government (UN DPIDG).
This project was funded by the United Nations Department of Public Institutions and Digital Government (UN DPIDG).
